I’m a big fan of the former Bodway’s Restaurant in Waukesha, now the Mainstream Bar & Grill. I just ate another delicious black bean burger, and then we took home some 45 cent wings too. For the build your own burgers, you get to choose from 6 cheeses, 15 toppings, and 16 sauces/dressings, and for the burger, you can get a black angus burger, chicken breast, tuna steak, or my favorite, a black bean burger.

Just as an example, this is what I choose for toppings: tomato, lettuce, corn salsa, bell peppers, bruchetta, guacamole, cajun remoulade, buffalo sauce, and honey barbecue. Their buns are delicious too, and they include home fried chips. Full Menu Here.

The Montecito Ristorante will be the location for the new Waukesha Winter Farmer’s Market! Says here they are having it on the first and third Saturday of each month this winter… they are also serving breakfast at the restaurant during the market. Sounds like fun!

Alpine Valley Resort Open for the season

Looking forward to checking out Alpine this weekend… The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva Resort last weekend was nice. Skiing was free with their opening weekend promo. The chalet was clean, roomy, and didn’t smell like fried foods like Alpine!
