If you would like an online backup folder set up on your account, just ask! Another name for this is a Webdav folder.
If I've set you up with one already, just follow these instructions to connect to it from Windows:
NOTE: the screens may not look exactly like those given below due to differences in versions of Windows. Also, the steps may not all flow exactly like they are described below. Contact me if you need any help.
1. Right Click on "My Computer" and choose "Map Network Drive"

2. At the next screen, ignore the "Drive" selection, and leave "Folder" blank, and go to the bottom and click where it says "Sign up for online storage or connect to a network server." You are not actually creating a drive letter mapping, since this is an online web based storage location.

3. Click Next

4. Click Next

5. Enter the address I gave you

6. It will be something like this. After typing it in, click Next.

7. You may then get a warning about the secure connection. This is simply because I do not pay hundreds of dollars per year for a "certified" secure certificate. The connection is secure, and you may safely click "Yes" at this prompt.

8. Now you will be prompted for the username and password I've provided to you. Type them in now, and leave the "save password" checkbox checked if you do not want to type in the password every time you access this folder. This window may look more like step 11 below, or it may look like this:

9. You will then be prompted to name the new location. Type in something descriptive like "online backups".

10. The confirmation screen. Click "Finish"

11. It may now ask for the username and password again, if it does, type it in again

12. You will then see the folder and its contents. You can now copy any files to this folder and they will be securely stored on your remote web server account.

Note: your storage space will be limited to the amount of space in your hosting plan, so carefully choose which files you wish to backup to this folder. If you want to keep more than one version of a particular file, just rename it on the online drive before copying a new version out there. For example, if the filename is mybackup.zip, you may want to rename the existing file on the online drive to mybackup01.zip before copying out the new mybackup.zip file to the online drive. You can choose how many old versions you want to keep out there.
