For this website, we wanted to give people a glimpse into the type of fine merchandise Katydids offers at the store.  We took many pictures of the store, and set up product pages for the major manufacturers.  This website also offers a list of upcoming events, and an online signup for the email newsletter.  The newsletter offers special discounts and advance notice of upcoming events.  Katie Stewart, owner of Katydids, also provides recipes on the website, a common request after her open houses where she serves some of the most delicious food!  Visit Katydids today, both online, and in downtown Waukesha.


Allo! Chocolat

Allo! Chocolat, the former Amy Lyn's Chocolates store in Waukesha, is another good example of a local retail store website.  They have a number of pages that serve to give the visitor a glimpse into the many sweets that one might find if they visit the store.  We also take online signups for a newsletter, which is sent out monthly to customers.  A future enhancement is to set up an online ordering system for a few select products that can be purchased by out of town chocolate lovers!

Becky's Blissful Bakery
Sussex, WI

This local bakery makes the most delicious hand-wrapped caramels.  They are made with all organic ingredients which give them the most wholesome taste.  This customer provided all their own photography, which I cropped and sized where needed to fit on the site.  We are using a Paypal hosted shopping cart, which made the creation of the online store portion of the site very quick and easy.  Paypal charges reasonable transaction fees for credit card payments, and does not charge any setup or monthly fees.  This was a perfect solution for this growing business.
